Seven babies at the SCBU unit at the hospital were attended to by the GFHCD by paying N23,400 for each baby as incubation bill for a month.
Also there were some cases in the children’s ward which needed financial assistance like:
- Emmanuel Otaru suffered paraplegia, the foundation paid N100,000 for his surgery, to the glory of God he has recovered and has been discharged.
- Daniel Prosper who suffered Acute Kidney Injury, the foundation paid N120,000 for dialysis, unfortunately he is currently still hospitalized and needs a renal transplant.
- Tyoweuse Nguevese who suffered brain cancer; N80,000 was paid for her radiotherapy and she was referred to the Federal Medical Center Makurdi for further treatment.
Other items and equipment were also donated to the hospital for the welfare of the children and also to support staff to administer credible health care while adhering to the Covid 19 regulations.
