GFHCD was able to provide support to 4 babies, Bilikisu, Abisoye, Francis and Abdul Ganiyu. Bilikisu was abandoned by her father, fortunately social services were able to track him down. There was an outstanding bill which we were able to clear.
Abisoye was born with multiple congenital issues. She had undergone two surgeries. We were able to cover the surgery bill and pay a deposit for further surgeries.
Francis was born with several complications and had just undergone spinal surgery. He also needed to have brain surgery as too much fluid was in his head at the time. We were able to sort the bill for the lifesaving procedure he needed.
Abdul Ganiyu unfortunately lost his mum at birth, we paid his initial deposit
All these children were in need of critical medical attention and their parents were not able to afford it. Thankfully we were able to help them out in ensuring the children had the needed help required. Cases like this are evident all across the country. If we do not stand in their corner they have no hope. This is the motivation that drives us to make a difference in the lives of the vulnerable children.
We were also able to donate several items to the hospital. The items donated include photo therapy lamp, bubble cpap, apnoea monitor, gloves, shoes, thermometer, baby scale machine. The hospital staff and parents of the children were happy and thankful we were able to provide a much needed support.
